All playground rules are to be followed before, during, and after school.
Supervision on the main yard begins at 7:40am and on the Kindergarten yard at 8:00am everyday. Students must wait in the office or with adult supervision if they arrive on campus prior to these times.
Walk only around and through the climbing structures and in between playground areas. Run only within the game areas.
Do not lie under or run through the climbing structures. Do not sit or lie on the padded area.
At the climbing structure, use the yellow ladders and the rock wall to go up, and the green stairs to go down.
The yellow climbing structure may be used by 1st - 5th graders. The blue structure may only be used by 3rd - 5th graders.
The track is for walking only at recess and lunch.
Eating/drinking takes place at the lunch tables only; no snacks or drinks may be consumed in any play area. Play areas are for playing only.
Walk only behind or between buildings; do not cross the orange lines at recess or lunch except to go to the library with a pass.
At the rose garden area, only sitting is permitted on the bottom cement bench.
Rubber balls may not be kicked. Return balls to the ball racks when not in use.
Treat basketball rims respectfully. Do not hang on them.
The basketball backboards may only be adjusted by an administrator, teacher, or coach.
Clean up after yourself; use the trash cans; keep lunch boxes and backpacks out of play areas; and remind others to do the same.
All playground equipment must be returned to the proper places before class start, at the end of recess, lunch, and P.E.
Follow regulation game rules when playing in areas. “made-up” rules or games as you play may cause problems.
